Suggestions(cont) and Praise

Hey guys,

First the praise:

  • The toggle on the work area works AWESOME, THANKS!!
  • The tooltip font size makes us olddies so grateful to you!!
Now some more suggestion:

  • When you have a path selected, could we have an option to "Split in half"? With some checks for min size ofc.
  • Would it be possible to delete items on a node?
    • I'm asking for this since I had to use it to solve some traffic jams under "The Colonists". It was maybe my fault and I should pay more attention, but it's nice to have the option to correct a traffic jam that way instead of re-starting the game.
    • My interface suggestion:
      • Click on item on left pane displays a selection visual cue of your choice and design.
      • Press <Delete> and it goes bye-bye. It's your choice if you want a "Are you sure?" notification.
      • Take care of the hell the user just caused to the whole distribution algorithm, that you guys are so proud of ;-P
  • You guys rely a LOT on the Hint system, is that a good thing?
    • I brought this up on the original "Suggestions" topic, on my last reply.
  • Since you guys have plenty of space on the right of the Production icon on a building, could you guys put the value of production there? The same info you get when you hover the mouse on said icon.
  • Same thing ^^^^ would apply to the Input and Delivery Queue, right?
  • Would it be feasible to have the research progress displayed on the HUD?
    • This pertains again to the fact that you guys rely too much on the hint system...
    • I can't imagine a way to display it, or even the design. I'm really sorry, but I'm a programmer that is VERY BAD at design, sorry.

Sure, added it to the feature list.

We thought about it too, but it's a bit like the easy way out, instead of fixing the problem with bypass paths or pause productions etc.., don't you think?

That's true, we like it, as it's super fast & easy to implement and often works as a little debug helper. But we know that it's used too much, and we most of the tooltips will move into the user interface bit by bit. 
I played yesterday a bit with the visuals of the Infopanel (see screenshot) which removes most of the goods related tooltips.

All progress related stuff (level, build, research) & object states will move into HUD as icons/progress bars.
