I love the concept of the game. Reminds me a lot of "knights and merchants" from when i was a kid. I would like to see a better angle on the camera so we can see the depth on the buildings and units etc. I spent a few minutes looking for a roadmap and like what i see. I enjoy the structure of the game, only thing i want, other then camera angle, to change is content. I understand this will come with time. I did not encounter any bugs in the demo and had no crashes. Look forward to the updates in the future.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. We have to consider how we implement a adjustable camera angle, because there are some dependencies with the fog of war. But I add it to the todo list and it will come. Thanks, Kevin |

Hey guys,
I just wanted to reiterate what gordin89 said about your concept and influences. Very Knights and Merchants with The Settlers which are wonderful foundations to build on. I also agree about the camera angle, while I can see your point about needing to iron out the fog of war issues (a good call) it is a bit of a strain on the eyes to maintain such a steep pitch. Also, you have some amazing art direction and style that would be great to see more of with better angles. What I would like to contribute to the discussion is in the sound design. I love the music you have chosen so far as well as the atmospheric sounds (birds chirping etc..) so far, however, I think some of the audio could see dramatic improvement around the sound effects. Particularly the construction and building audio effects. They are a bit jarring as they stand now and should be made to be a pleasant sound of progress. The sawmill, for example, has a grating sound when planks are being produced instead of something a little more pleasing to the player, especially since it will be a constant effect to be played. I know this is somewhat nitpicking compared to the larger development but I hope this helps a bit. Seriously you guys have a ton of potential here and I hope you keep going! This genre needs games like yours! Cheers, |

Hi anderstone,
Thanks for your feedback! We may have to reiterate the Fog of War design to allow more flat perspectives, so for now we'll have to limit the angle to ~50-60°. Yes, I have to admit that the sound design has received the least effort so far, neither me nor my brother have much experience with it, so we have to depend on third party sounds. However, we know how important a good sound design is for the whole game experience, and it will become improved! Best regards, Kai |
