Since version 0.2.7 the game also runs on Linux. We recommend the usage of Snapcraft.io. Currently, we only tested it on Ubuntu 19.10 and 18.04 LTS. Steps below only regard if you want to use the archived version. Usually you have to make it executable. If you use a filemanager: Simply right click on the Serfs.x86_64 select "Properties"->"Permissions"->check "Allow executing file as program" Close the properties window and start the game with a double click onto Serfs.x86_64 You can change the properties of the file also using the terminal: sudo chmod +x Serfs.x86_64 Then you can run it: ./Serfs.x86_64 Ubuntu 19.10 may report that the application is not responding after launching, just wait some seconds it resumes automatically. |
